“Car-Free Day” in Ulaanbaatar will take place on Saturday, 22 September under the theme ‘Let’s support bicycling and walking instead of driving’. This will be the second time in a year that the car-free day has been held.

The Car-Free Day has been held once a year in Ulaanbaatar since 2006.

Between 10 am and 5 pm, traffic will be restricted on Peace Avenue between the West Central Intersection and East Central Intersection. Also, cars will not be allowed on Baga Toiruu, Revolution Avenue, Youth Avenue, and Seoul Street. On “Car-Free Day”, sports competitions, an exhibition of eco foods and cultural events will take place during the day.
