Speaker D. Demberel has received a draft law to increase the pensions of military personnel. In 2010 MPs raised military pensions from 60 to 80 percent of a service member’s average salary. MPs also granted service members an allowance of one percent of average salary for every year of service. But that created a discrepancy between military pensions and other pensions. The draft law would address that discrepancy.
