Young Mongolian ballerina O.Anujin has won a gold medal at the Korea International Ballet-2018. The competition took place from 28 June to 1 July.

More than 200 ballerinas from 14 countries have participated in what has been ranked an ‘A’ class the ballet competition.

This was the first gold medal claimed by a Mongolian ballerina from one of the biggest international  competitions; it represents a milestone in the development of ballet art in the country. Previously, O.Anujin won a bronze medal at the same event – the Korea International Ballet Competition in 2016 and a grand prix of the first Mongolia International Ballet Competition held in 2018.
