Many Mongolian students earned 800 points – the highest score of General Entrance Exam (GEE), which was held on 16-20 June. In total, there were 22 top scorers in Ulaanbaatar.

Students, who got 760-800 points, received MNT 1-1.5 million cash awards from the provincial administrations: a total of 11 students received a cash award in South Gobi. Students and their teachers were awarded by the governor of Dornod Province. Four students from Sukhbaatar Province who earned the highest scores in maths, physics and social sciences, have received certificates to study in Japan under an engineering and technology educational project.

Over 40,000 young people registered for the GEE this year.
