A total of 20 students, who missed their chemistry tests in the  General Entrance Exam, have made a complaint to the Educational Evaluation Centre over changing the time of the exam. However, officials have explained that the dates and times of exams had ‘not changed’ since they were announced by the Educational Evaluation Center earlier  in June.

Also, as reported, student from the 52nd school of Ulaanbaatar has missed the General Entrance Exam because of an unexpected traffic jam on the Yarmag Bridge road 19 June. The traffic jam which lasted for two hours had been caused by an accident.

Mongolia’s General Entrance Exam are being held from 16-20 June. Over 40,000 young people have registered for the GEE this year, but 876, or two percent of them, had not taken the tests.  The results of the exams will be announced on 1 July. Passing the General Entrance Exam is required for any student wishing to go to university or college.

The unfortunate student who was stuck in traffic was told that it would be impossible to take the exam again.
