During the first five months of 2018, a total of 16457 Mongolian women gave birth to 16604 children across the country; 8535 are boys and 8069 are girls. According to statistics, of the mothers who gave birth to the 239 pairs of twins – seven gave birth to triplets.

 Under Mongolian law, a one-off benefit of MNT 1,000,000 is paid for each twin; so, between them triplets receive MNT 3,000,000.
