The ‘Night Museum-Colours of Mongolia’, event for tourists will be held on July 4-5, from 8.30pm-12pm. The light-show experience is organised by the Choijin Lama Temple Museum each year.
The night museum offers viewers to visit an exhibition ‘Precious Artistic Works of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar’ and to view tangible and intangible cultural heritages with concert of Ulaanbaatar Ensemble.
With the aim of developing the cultural creative sector, to spread cultural education to public and to promote its activity in an interesting way, the Temple-Museum has been successfully organising the event ‘Night Museum’ in collaboration with ‘Khusugtun’ ethnic band, the Morin Khuur Ensemble and Ulaanbaatar Ensemble since 2011.
The experience is a fusion of music, colour, movement and rich Mongolian Buddhist culture and, if you are in Ulaanbaatar, you don’t have far to go:
The Choijin Lama Temple Museum is located in the very heart of the city – a mere 350 m from Mongolia’s central point on Sukhbaatar Square. It is tucked away immediately behind the Blue Sky Tower.
