The Nomadic Mongolia Festival will be held at Khui Doloon Khudag, located not far from Ulaanbaatar, in August.
Originally, this festival was created only for tourists, but then the Mongolian Minister of Roads, Transports and Tourism officially recognised it as a ‘tourist event’, due to the fame it had earned and because it is the one and only event that highlights Mongolian nomadic culture.
Over 100 items of Mongolia’s cultural heritage will be showcased as well as a wide range of folklore concerts. During the festival, tourists can buy Mongolian brands as well enjoy traditional sports such as knucklebone throwing, archery and polo.
