The Ulaanbaatar City Administration has announced a new tour project for increasing the quality of services and safety for tourists. Under the ‘City Tour’ programme, the administration is organising regular excursions around the Mongolian capital and nearby historical places. The tour service is due to start on 15 June.

Ulaanbaatar is the main transit zone for foreign arrivals in Mongolia; over 92 percent of arrivals pass through the city.

The vehicles which will be used for the ‘City Tour’ programme are from the fleet of  VIP buses which were bought for the international ASEM forum in 2016.
