Because of the rise of tourists travelling  from Russia to China and, vice versa, through Mongolia to Europe,  Ulaanbaatar Railways JSC has increased the number of trains travelling to and from Beijing. From 7 June, there are three new services each week travelling to China. Under an intergovernmental protocol, Mongolia and China’s railway companies alternate managing the route from UB and Beijing on a yearly basis.
