
The World Judo Championship got underway in Paris yesterday. Six Mongolians are competing in the event: Ch. Boldbaatar (60 kg), D. Tumurkhuleg (60 kg), Kh. Tsagaanbaatar (66 kg), S. Miyaragchaa (66 kg), M. Urantsetseg (48 kg), and B. Bat-Erdene (48 kg). The Mongolians are off to a good start: Kh. Tsagaanbaatar defeated his challenger in his first match. He will take on lu Ren Wan of China in the next round.
