Customs officers at Chinggis Khaan Airport in Ulaanbaatar say they discovered 400 military-grade bullets inside a passenger’s suitcase just two hours before U.S. Vice President Joe Biden’s airplane landed at the airport yesterday. The vice president landed without incident. The bullets were found inside the suitcase of a passenger on Mongolian Airlines (Miat) Flight No. 138 from Berlin. The bullets were confiscated. Customs officials say they are taking the case very seriously, since the bullets were discovered on the same day that a state visit was taking place.
