
South Korean President Lee Myung-bak has ended his state visit in Mongolia and departed for home. During his visit, Mr. Lee met with Mongolian President Ts. Elbegdorj. The two leaders discussed issues of mutual concern, including economic cooperation. South Korea has agreed to extend USD 300 million in loans to Mongolia to support the economy and development projects. Mongolian and Korean officials also reached an agreement to build a coal-processing facility in Baganuur. During his visit, President Lee also met with the Speaker, D. Demberel, and Prime Minister S. Batbold, with who he discussed the issue of visas for workers.
