Travellers to Mongolia who venture outside Ulaanbaatar generally stay in ger camps for tourists. As a camping session begins, Ulaanbaatar City Administration is to organise a clean-up event in co-operation with the UB Youth Development Agency and other organisations.

Entitled, ‘Let’s Run and Clean’, the event will be held on Saturday (26 May). More than 400 young people from over 20 organisations and 100 members from the Mongolian Bodybuilding Fitness Federation will clean a 5-6 km area of the 20th khoroo of Bayanzurkh District, Gatsuurt as well as the camping zone on the banks of the Tuul River.

The event will be held annually.
