The number of Mongolian citizens who have received mortgages has increased to 93,999 since 2016 when the programme first started. According to the Central Bank of Mongolia, the number of mortgages issued by commercial banks increased by 2.3 percent in April on the previous month.

A monthly average of MNT 53 million of mortgage loans per month has been issued by commercial banks since September, 2017; however in April it decreased to MNT 50.4 billion.

Most of mortgage loans were issued in the Darkhan-Uul and Orkhon Provinces.
