After successfully conquering Mount Everest on 16 May, the world’s highest mountain above sea level, Mongolian mountaineer J.Byambasuren has climbed Mount Lhotse in six days. Master of Mountain Sport J.Byambasuren, one of the founders of ‘Khairkhan’ mountaineering club raised the Mongolian flag at the summit of Lhotse at 09.30 a.m. on 22 May. He rested in the camp for two days after descended from the summit of Everest.
Lhotse is the fourth highest mountain in the world at 8,516 metres, and is located on the border between Tibet and Nepal.
J.Byambasuren has joined ‘The Seven Summit Challenge’ with the aim of conquering the highest peaks of the seven continents and has been taking on the summits of Europe, Africa, North and South America and Australia continents since 2012.
