The Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has set up a display-board honouring its peacekeepers. Entitled ‘Mongolian Peacekeeper’, the board commemorates NEMA officers who have participated in the UN peacekeeping operations.

Mongolian NEMA officers joined UN peacekeeping operations in 2012. Since then, 240 NEMA officers have participated in the UN peacekeeping operations including 26 officers who are currently in South Sudan.
