Mongolia will host the World 3×3 Basketball Grand Prix in Ulaanbaatar on 2-3 June; this is one of the competitions being held ahead of the FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2018.

Twelve national teams, including those  from Serbia, Slovenia, Australia, Poland, Russia, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Indonesia and Mongolia will compete in the event. The winners can look forward to a large prize pool of USD 20 thousand at the Grand Prix and being able to go on to participate in the World 3×3 Basketball Grand Slam in Malaysia on 13-14 October.

Last year, Ulaanbaatar hosted the Asian 3×3 Basketball Championships.
