Mongolian powerlifters have successfully participated in the Asian Powerlifting Championships 2018. The competition was held on 1-6 May in  the city of Udaipur in northwestern India.

Mongolian athlete A.Otgonbayar won a gold medal in the 120kg of M-1 category and Kh.Turtaivan won two bronze medals in 83kg of the Junior’s category of the championship.

A.Otgonbayar lifted 280kg in squat lifting and 230kg in bench press, 230kg in deadlift categories while  Kh.Turtaivan lift 137 in bench press and 235kg in the deadlift category.
