The April VAT Lottery in Mongolia has created a lot of interest: there were two winning tickets. The lucky pair, both from Ulaanbaatar, will share the MNT 100 million jackpot. The two winners are S.Enkhjargal from the capital’s Bayangol district and E.Tuul from the Songinokhairkhan district.

One of two winners, E.Tuul who has been working as a nurse for 19 years, won the April jackpot after purchasing some ‘Amtlag’ yougurt from a shop she regularly visits; her receipt was for MNT 1700. Still finding it hard to believe her luck, E.Tuul said she will use the money for buying an apartment.

Another winner was G.Chinzorig from Khuvsgul, who won MNT 10 million.
