To mark the occasion of the 105th anniversary of National Journalism and World Press Freedom Day, a forum entitled ‘Independent Journalism’ took place at the Central Cultural Palace of Mongolia. Ulaanbaatar Mayor S.Batbold, spoke at the event and congratulated journalists on World Press Freedom Day.

At the forum, Mayor S.Batbold noted that the UB Administration has provided land for the construction of a ‘Journalists’ House’ by request of the Confederation of Mongolian Journalists. The construction work is expected to begin this spring and to open in 2019.
