Mongolia, led by MVP E.Dulguun played against Jordan on 1 April at FIBA 3×3 Asian Cup finals which kicked off in the Chinese city of Shenzhen.
The 6ft 3in (1.90 metre) 26-year-old won Most Valuable Player last year as he led his team to their first 3×3 title, and first FIBA title, on the home soil of Ulaanbaatar.
There are four pools of three teams for both men and women, from which the top two will advance to the quarter-finals on the morning of Tuesday (May 1) with semi-finals and the final also scheduled for that day.
The main draw of the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2018 is played with 12 women’s and men’s teams.
Last year, Ulaanbaatar hosted FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup and national men’s team became champion.
