The Mongolian powerlifting girls team has qualified for the Youth Olympic Games which is to be held  in the Argentinean capital  Buenos Aires, this summer. The team, led by coaches G.Batzaya and Kh.Odkhuu, was listed fifth by team score at the Asian Youth Powerlifting Championships in Uzbekistan.

World Cup champion E.Bilegsaikhan won two silvers and other Mongolian athletes were listed between 4 and 8 at the championships.
