A delegation led by North Korean Ambassador to Mongolia O Sung-ho made a working visit to Uvurkhangai Province on 22-23 April.
The delegates visited a kindergarten named after Kim Il-sung. The kindergarten is the first of its kind in Mongolia to bear the name of the founder of North Korea in 1948 and grandfather of the current Supreme Leader Kim Jong-il. Ambassador O Sung-ho said that he has noticed there are many opportunities for cooperation with Uvurkhangai Province. North Korea plans to share its experience with the province in the fields of construction and agriculture.
This year, Mongolia and North Korea mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations.
