A Mongolian Television Forum has been held at the Tuushin Hotel in central Ulaanbaatar under the main theme of the ‘Audience First’.

Representatives of active TV stations in Mongolia participated in the forum to review the past year in the television industry, address the existing challenges and seek solutions together. The forum is the main platform for discussing the regulations and independence of the industry, conflicts between the content producers and distributors and other topics; these were all highlighted by the organisers.

The organisers called for fair competition, an increase of educational content in the television industry and production of programmes that ensure the audience’s right to information.

 The Mongolian Television Forum was initiated by Mongol TV five years ago.
