A forum entitled ‘Women miners for development’ was held in Orkhon Province on 17 April as a part of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Erdenet Mining Corporation.  Over 400 delegates including women MPs, the governor of Orkhon Province as well as women miners from across the country participated in the forum.

During the forum, women miners discussed the problems and aims of the mining sector.
