About 40 members of the Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGL) will come to Mongolia next month to take part in an event organized by the Mongolian Economic Forum. The YGL is a group sponsored by the World Economic Forum, which says YGL members are “exceptional young leaders who share a commitment to shaping the global future.”
The forum in Mongolia is called “YGL Learning Journey Mongolia.” Organizers say the purpose of the event is to give the young leaders a chance to learn about Mongolian society, economics, and politics. The development of Mongolia’s mining industry will also be discussed. Among the organizers of the event are three members of the YGL from Mongolia: MP S.Oyun, Mineral Resources and Energy Minister D.Zorigt, and Vice Minister for Finance Ch. Ganhuyg.
