The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will continue investing in private sector directly or via local banks as well as provide advisory services in Erdenet.

Earlier today, Orkhon Deputy Provincial Governor S.Batjargal held a meeting with Irina Kravchenko, Head of the EBRD representative office in Mongolia. During the meeting, S.Batjargal proposed cooperating with the EBRD in improving the municipal infrastructure of the city.

The EBRD has been operating in Mongolia since 2006 and has invested a total of USD 1.5 billion in the country
