U.Khurelsukh, Prime Minister of Mongolia met Xi Jingpin, president of China on 10 April while participating in the Boao Forum in Hainan.

At the beginning of the meeting U.Khurelsukh congratulated Xi Jingpin for being re-elected as a president of China and delivered greetings from Mongolian President Kh.Battulga. U.Khurelsukh expressed that developing good-neighbourly, friendly relations and mutual beneficial cooperation with China is the primary principle of Mongolia’s foreign policy. He added that Ulaanbaatar is aiming for deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

Xi Jingpin conveyed his greetings to Mongolia’s President. He noted that China acknowledges Mongolia’s independence, sovereignty and integrality as well as its important role in the development of relations between the two countries.

The two sides agreed to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Chinese-Mongolian diplomatic relations in 2019.
