Six year-old Mongolian girl M.Yalguun has become a champion in the ‘rapid’ category and won bronze medal in ‘blitz’ category in the 2018 Asian Youth Rapid and Blitz Championship. The competition which concluded on 9 April  took place in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand.

Nearly 600 youngsters from 26 countries competed in the  Championships.

Previously, M.Yalguun brought a gold medal to Khovd Province for the first time in 17 years from the 2018 National Youth Chess Championship.
