Seoul Street, which is in a prime location in central Ulaanbaatar, has been refurbished to become a ‘Nightlight Street’. In accordance with the plan framed by the urban planning department of the UB administration, refurbishment works including pavement of 440 meters long area, creation of a public arena with a LED screen and seats, green space restoration and installation of various lightings were made. Much of the work was undertaken last year.

This year, the Nightlight Street will officially open to locals and tourists on 4 May. When it opens, special events will be organised every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Seoul Street is located just south of Peace Avenue – to which it runs parallel. It is home to some of the best-known restaurants in UB, such as California and Marco Polo.
