Three people were injured on 8 March when a chunk of plaster board fell from the ceiling of the Misheel Expo complex in Ulaanbaatar. The accident occurred during a concert in which the popular group Hurd was performing.  

Following the accident, the Ulaanbaatar Metropolitan Professional Inspection Department has banned Misheel Expo and also the Wrestling Palace for hosting cultural events until the necessary repairs are conducted and safety standards met.
