
A joint Mongolia-South Korea “water forum” was recently held at the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. The forum was designed to improve cooperation between water organizations in the two nations, train water experts, give Mongolian water specialists the opportunity to study in South Korea, and bring new water technologies to Mongolia. During the forum, experts discussed the implementation of water regulations, improving the quality of rivers and lakes, compiling data about water resources, and improving drinking water and wastewater facilities.
