Kh.Battulga, President of Mongolia issued a decree on Wednesday  stripping Kh.Jekei of the military title of  brigadier general. Former deputy of the General Authority for Border Protection and two-time MP, Kh.Jekei has revoked Mongolian citizenship of his own will.

Kh.Jekei was elected to the Mongolian Parliament twice: in 2000 and 2008 from Bayan-Ulgii Province, which is located in the far west of the country and has an ethnic Kazakh majority.
