Mongolia hosted a FIFA Tier 1 Friendly Match in Ulaanbaatar on 27 March and played Mauritius. However, the Mongolian National Football Team led by German coach Michael Weiss was defeated 0:2 by Mauritius.

The Mongolian Football Federation reports that the Mongolian football team will play its second unofficial friendly match with Mauritius on 29 March.

Previously, Mongolia scored 2:2 against Malaysia in a friendly match at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on 22 March. The Mongolian National Football Team listed 189th in the FIFA  ranking position.
