U.Khurelsukh, Prime Minister of Mongolia received Cho Hyun, South Korean Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs earlier today (26 March). At the meeting, the two sides agreed to expand cooperation between Mongolia and South Korea as well as improve the trade and business environment. PM U.Khurelsukh confirmed that the South Korean soft loan will be used to target decreasing air-pollution in Ulaanbaatar. Also, he has proposed to accelerate a visa-free agreement with South Korea.
In return, Mr. Cho Hyun proposed to maintain close cooperation with Mongolia at the level of a third neighbour.
