An intergovernmental meeting between Mongolia and Turkey was held at the State Palace in Ulaanbaatar on Wednesday. The event was led by Mongolian Defence Minister N.Enkhbold, and Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu. The two sides agreed to focus on maximising the full range of possibilities for cooperation in economics, trade and investment and developing strong links between the small and medium sized business of the two countries.
The Mongolian National Chamber of Trade and Industry has agreed to cooperate with the Turkish Exporters’ Association and the Turkish Foreign Trade Committee. Furthermore, Mongolia and Turkey will organise programmes on exchanging experience in establishing free trade zones.
