The IX China-Mongolia Media Forum will take place in the Umnugobi  (South Gobi) province of Mongolia. About 100 officials and journalists from China and Mongolia will discuss and initiate methods of accelerating media cooperation and exchanges between the two countries. Furthermore, journalists from international media agencies will also participate in the forum.

Kh.Mandakhbayar, president of the Mongolia Journalist Association  signed a MoU with N.Naranbaatar, Mayor of South Gobi to organise the forum.

The annual forum has been taking place since 2013 under an agreement signed by former Mongolian Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag, and his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.
