Mongolian wrestlers recently competed in the Russian autonomous region of Tuva. They took part in a competition organized to commemorate Tuva’s 90th anniversary. The event coincided with a Tuvan holiday in the capital capital city of Kyzyl.

Mongolia’s national wrestling union organized the competition. The 41 wrestlers came from Mongolia, Inner Mongolia, Buryats, Gorny Altai, Khakas, and Tuva. All wrestlers were divided into two weights, namely above 85 kg and under 85 kg. In the weight of above 85kg, A.Byambajav won and was awarded US$6000.
