Officers from the Mongolian Drug Squad have been investigating 24 cases of illegal narcotics involving 54 people. This week, two men aged 28 and 33 were arrested and are facing drug trafficking charges. They are suspected of trading illegally imported drugs in clubs. Police seized ‘ice’ packaged in plastic bags.

Currently, 38 Mongolian citizens have been jailed on drug charges; one in Slovakia – the others in China.
