The Mongolia Economic Forum will be held on 26-27 March under the auspices of the Prime Minister.
The forum has been held annually since 2010. However, the event was postponed because of the Presidential election; the 2017 forum scheduled on 6-7July.
During the two-day event, government officials, private sector actors, academics, foreign investors, donors, and civil society members discuss issues critical to the country’s growth, including capital markets, competitiveness, state registration reform, budgetary reform, mining sector development, environment and green economy. This year, the forum will address the economic revival, the outcome of the Extended Fund Facility programme and major projects, involving representatives of the public and private sector.
