Singer M.Narantuya has announced that she is preparing to stand for the Mongolian parliamentary election in 2020. Better known by her stage name Nara, she was nominated for the 2016 parliamentary election from Bayangol Districts of Ulaanbaatar. On that occasion, however, Nara was defeated.

Nara said, ‘my decision to stand for parliament was not sudden. I will not abandon this goal. Therefore, I will stand for the 2020 parliament election’.

Nara spent over MNT 50 million on her last election campaign.
