The appointment of Mongolia’s ambassadors to the USA, Canada and Japan has been pending for over a year. Parliament has already approved Yo.Otgonbayar as Mongolian ambassador to the United States, N.Chinguumdari a ambassador to Canada and G.Tenger as ambassador to Japan on basis of the presidential nominations. However, President Kh.Battulga, has still not signed their credentials.

Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar, explained the situation. According to him,  the president needs first to discuss the appointments with parliament.
