The Russian Armed Forces celebrated the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Red Army on Thursday. N.Enkhbold, Minister of Defense of Mongolia has participated in the celebration at invitation of his Russian counterpart General Sergey Shoygu. The celebrations, which included a display of military hardware took place in the old town of Ivangorod, which is located 159 km (99 miles) west of St Petersburg and on the border with Estonia.  

During the meeting with the Russian Minister of Defence, N.Enkhbold congratulated him and thanked for the invitation. The two sides discussed defence sector cooperation for 2018 and the medium term.
