Mongolian Erchim FC was defeated by North Korea’s Hwaebul Sports Club 4-0 at home on 13 February. Eleven times champion of the Khurkhree National Premier League’, the ‘Erchim’ has lost its first match in ‘AFC Cup’s’ Play-off to North Korean’s ‘ Hwaepul SC. Exactly one week later, the team will travel to North Korea for an away fixture. Both games are part of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup championship.

‘Erchim’ lost two goals in the first 45 minutes and missed the chance to score two goals in the next 45 minutes, but managed to keep up the good defense during the first 40 minutes. In the last 5 minutes, our athletes failed to defend one goal and in overtime they also lost 1 goal resulting the 4-0 defeat to North Korean team. The next match will be held on the February 20 in North Korea.
