Earlier today (13 February) Parliamentary Speaker M.Enkhbold, met with Mongolia’s Olympic medal holders at the State Palace. The meeting was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of a Mongolian athlete winning the first Olympic medal for the country

People representing 25 of the athletes who won 26 Olympic medals participated in the meeting.

Speaker M.Enkhbold congratulated the athletes on the 50th anniversary of Mongolia’s first Olympic medal and wished them to continue their Olympic accomplishments. He emphasised that this year’s meeting is significant, because it coincides with the ongoing Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games and asked for their valuable advice on ways of improving Mongolia’s participation in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
