On 7 February, a parliamentary working group led by MP D.Ganbold visited a National Nursing Home in Batsumber soum of Tuv province, Mongolia.
According to Director L.Erdenekhuu, the National Nursing Home has been providing a twenty-four-hour nursing care service to elderly people since 1925. A total of 1215 people have resided and received care services in the centre since 1951.
Currently, the centre is nursing 142 elderly and disabled people; 87 come from Ulaanbaatar as well as 34 who are mentally disabled.
