The XVII Conference of Confederation of Mongolian Journalists (CMJ) was held at Ulaanbaatar City Hall on 8 February; the main purpose of the event was choosing a new director and board members.

B.Galaarid, the president of the CMJ spoke at the opening ceremony of the conference. Every member participating in the conference has the right to nominate someone; in today’s meeting four people have been nominated for the post of CMJ president.
