H.E.Kalybek Koblandin, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia held a press conference on Friday (2 February) about the relations and cooperation between the two countries. The meeting of the intergovernmental commission between Mongolia and Kazakhstan will be held in March. During the meeting, the sides are expected to discuss strengthening economic relation as well as expanding cooperation in the mining, agriculture and energy sectors.

Recently, D.Sumiyabazar, Minister of Mining and Heavy Industries made an official visit to Astana where he discussed cooperation issues. Kh.Battulga, President of Mongolia is expected to visit Kazakhstan this year, said Ambassador Koblandin.

Trade volume between Mongolia and Kazakhstan reached to USD 80 million in 2017.
