Mongolian delegates led by J.Bat-Erdene, Minister of Road and Transport Development is making an official visit to Beijing at the invitation of Chinese Transport Minister Li Xiaopeng. Directors from the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar Railway, the National Transportation Department, Mongolian Railway and the Maritime Administration of Mongolia are included in the first visit of a Mongolian Transport Minister since 2015.

On first day of the visit, the  two sides discussed cooperation between China and Mongolia in the road and transportation sector as well as issues connected to the Russia-Mongolia-China railway corridor.

During the meeting, Minister J.Bat-Erdene proposed to increase the frequency of flights between Ulaanbaatar and Beijing as well as to expand the Hunnu Air flights on the Ulaanbaatar-Ulan Ude- Manzhouli route.
